Computer Graphics Software


Computer Graphics is the life line of today's computer technology. Starting from small wall Posters to huge animations, CG is being used. system generated imagery is used on televisions, Mobile Phones, Newspaper etc.
We can classify the CG as 2D, 3D, 5D and Animated Graphics. With the improvement in the technology 3D graphics have become common, but 2D graphics are also widely used.
2D Graphics
These are the computer based digital image generation in a plane. Texts, Images etc are the examples of 2D Computer Graphics. 2D CG is widely used in the field of News Papers, Printed Advertising etc.
As the technology has improved, New software came to the computer field to lessen the efforts in making a computer graphics. Microsoft Paint is a simple example of 2D Computer Graphics software. Other software like Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Corel Draw, PageMaker etc is also widely used in the 2D CG field.
3D Graphics
3D graphics are the representation of Objects with reference to 3 Co-Ordinates. 3D graphics become much popular now with the coming of new technologies and software. Major software used in 3D Computer Graphics includes, Autodesk 3D Max, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D etc.
Technologies in 3D graphics are developing lightning fast.
Animations
Animation is a sequence of graphics arranged together so that graphics are showed as a moving film. There are 2D as well as 3D Animation. Major Animation software include Macromedia Flash, Autodesk 3D Max, Maya etc.
Revolutionary technologies are expected in the coming years. Movies like Avtar, Alice in wonderland, Cats and Dogs etc are the examples of present day technologies
